Traps should be placed in mid-April, before apple fruiting and left
out until harvest. Use minimum of one trap per tree for trapping. Use
one trap per 5 to 10 acres for monitoring.
The Great Lakes Red Ball Trap Kit comes with three traps, three ties and hooks, and an 8 oz. container of brushable TAD (Tangle-Trap) Insect Trap Coating.
Bulk traps: include trap spheres only; Insect Trap Coating not included.
TAD Insect Trap Coating can be purchased separately.
2 x 8 oz cans of TAD Insect Trap Coating will give ample coverage of the 25 "bulk" traps.
